1. Introduction
Celestix Robotics (“Celestix Robotics,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) builds autonomous indoor drone fleets and the operating software that runs them. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have when you use our website (robotics.celestix.ai), our customer dashboards (e.g. SafetyVision, AssetIQ, Sentinel, StockFlight, and the Fleet Ops Console), and any other product or service that links to this policy (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Visitors to our public website, including marketing pages and forms.
- Customers and end-users of the dashboards and consoles we provide under contract.
- Business contacts who interact with us via email, demos, sales calls, or events.
If you use Celestix Robotics as part of your employer’s deployment, your employer is the data controller for the operational data captured by the fleet (drone video, detections, incident records). Celestix Robotics processes that data on their behalf under a separate Data Processing Agreement.
3. Information we collect
3.1 Information you provide
- Contact details — name, work email, phone, company, job title, country (when you book a demo, request a quote, or sign a contract).
- Account information — username, role, plant assignment, and authentication credentials for dashboard access.
- Support & communications — messages, transcripts, screenshots, and attachments you send us.
3.2 Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data — IP address, user-agent, browser, OS, referring URL, pages visited, session timestamps, error logs.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 9.
3.3 Operational data from the fleet (customer-controlled)
- Imagery and detections — frames captured by drones, AI inferences (PPE, asset health, security events), incident reports, audit logs.
- Location and telemetry — drone position, battery, mission status, plant zone codes.
Celestix Robotics handles this category as a processor on behalf of the customer organization. Access, retention, and deletion are governed by the customer’s contract.
4. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Services.
- Authenticate users and protect against unauthorized access.
- Respond to requests, fulfill demo bookings, and provide customer support.
- Send transactional communications (account, security, billing notices).
- Improve product reliability, debug issues, and analyze aggregate usage trends.
- Train and evaluate internal computer-vision models, using only data we are contractually permitted to use, with personally identifying features blurred or excluded.
- Send marketing communications where you have opted in or where permitted by law (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Comply with legal obligations, enforce agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of Celestix Robotics, our customers, and the public.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share data only as follows:
- Service providers — cloud hosting (e.g. AWS in U.S. regions), email delivery, analytics, billing, support tooling. They are contractually limited to processing data on our instructions.
- Customer organization — if you use the Services on behalf of an employer, your activity may be visible to administrators of that account.
- Legal & safety — if required by subpoena, court order, or to protect against fraud, security incidents, or threats to life.
- Corporate transactions — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to customary confidentiality obligations.
6. Data retention
We retain information for as long as we have a business or legal reason to do so:
- Marketing contacts — until you unsubscribe or 36 months of inactivity, whichever comes first.
- Customer account data — for the term of the agreement plus a reasonable wind-down period (typically 90 days).
- Operational fleet data — per the customer’s contract; default is 90 days of high-resolution recordings and 12 months of compressed event logs.
- Server logs & security audit trails — up to 24 months.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest, role-based access controls, SSO/MFA for staff, built to NDAA 889 hardware sourcing, isolated production environments, vulnerability scanning, and incident response runbooks. Celestix Robotics is pursuing SOC 2 Type II attestation.
No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@celestix.ai.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete information, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Receive a portable copy of your information.
- Withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis.
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (EU/UK) or your state attorney general (U.S.).
For California residents (CCPA/CPRA): we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@celestix.ai. We will verify your identity before acting on the request and respond within the time required by applicable law.
9. Cookies & tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to measure aggregate usage:
- Strictly necessary — session continuity, security, fraud prevention.
- Functional — remembering preferences (e.g. dismissed banners).
- Analytics — first-party page-view metrics; we do not embed third-party advertising cookies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the Services.
10. Children
The Services are intended for business use and are not directed to individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International transfers
Celestix Robotics is headquartered in the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. Where required by law, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other approved transfer mechanisms.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the website. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
